BiographyJulia Zemiro is an actress and TV presenter who was born in France but moved to Australia at age two. Zemiro attended Sydney Girls High School and enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts from University of Sydney, before graduating with a Diploma of Dramatic Arts from Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne. Zemiro was established in Theatresports at Belvoir St Theatre, Sydney before moving to Melbourne in 1992 and joining Impro Melbourne. Zemiro toured with the Bel Shakespeare Company, became a regular in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's show, ‘Late Night Impro’ and was a core member of the improvised stage show, ‘Spontaneous Broadway’. Zemiro first appeared on TV as host of 'World Telly 2' and later as a panellist on ABC’s 'Good News Week' and writer and performer for ‘Totally Full Frontal’, playing more than 30 characters. From 2006 Zemiro hosted the music quiz show 'RocKwiz', later touring the show live. Zemiro has appeared in various films and comedy TV shows including 'Fisk', 'Thank God You're Here' and 'Talking 'Bout Your Generation', as well as hosting 'Julia Zemiro's Home Delivery' and 'Great Australian Walks'.
