BiographyKarl Henri Reginald Swenson (July 23, 1908 – October 8, 1978) was an American actor of stage, screen, and radio. He was known for his many character roles, and as Lars Hanson on the television series Little House on the Prairie (1974–78), as well as the voice of Merlin in the Disney animated film The Sword in the Stone (1963). He appeared in over 170 productions from the 1930s through the 1970s.
Early in his career, Swenson used the stage name Peter Wayne.
