BiographyAdele Lim (born 15 August 1975) is a Malaysian screenwriter, producer, and director. She is best known for being a co-writer on Crazy Rich Asians, the first film by a major Hollywood studio to feature a majority cast of Asian descent in a modern setting since The Joy Luck Club in 1993, and Raya and the Last Dragon in 2021, an animated fantasy adventure inspired by Southeast Asian culture. She also directed and produced the 2023 comedy Joy Ride.
