BiographyJACOB SETH FRANSSON is a screenwriter and director. He has worked as a screenwriter for some of the most viewed and critically acclaimed series in Sweden, such as the drama series “Bonusfamiljen/The Bonus Family” and the hit comedy show “Solsidan/The Sunny Side”. He is also one of the creators of the “Solsidan/The Sunny Side” for TV4, which has won numerous awards and nominations. After ten years working as a journalist, he started writing jokes for panel shows and later comedy series. Jacob writes in a wide range of genres and for different audiences. He has created and written many hours of Swedish comedy but in the last few years he has also worked with and developed projects leaning more toward the drama genre. Jacob also works as a director, he has previously directed several episodes for “Solsidan/The Sunny Side”, “Kontoret/The Office” (Swedish remake of “The Office”) and “Familjen Holstein-Gottorp”.
