Blunck’s first big-screen credit was in the supporting cast of director/producer Brett Donowho’s western, The Old Way (2023), starring Nicolas Cage, with Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Noah Le Gros, Clint Howard, Nick Searcy, and Shiloh Fernandez, and which was released by Saban Films. Blunck was cast in a supporting role in director/co-writer Rod Blackhurst’s indie drama, Blood for Dust (2023), starring Scoot McNairy, Josh Lucas, Kit Harington, Stephen Dorff and Ethan Suplee, and which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival before its theatrical release by The Avenue. Blunck had his second starring role in director/writer Charlie Polinger’s acclaimed psychological drama, The Plague (2025), with Kayo Martin, Kenny Rasmussen, and Joel Edgerton (who also produced), premiering in competition at the Cannes Film Festival’s Un Certain Regard program, and was released wide by Independent Film Company.
