BiographyJohn Semper Jr. (born August 14) is an American screenwriter, producer and story editor with numerous credits in animation for television. He is best known for being both producer and head writer on the television series Spider-Man: The Animated Series.
Semper is the creative originator of the "Spider-Verse", also known as the "Spiderman Multiverse", a storyline propagated in various Spider-Man comics, cartoons and films in the early 21st century.
