BiographyPeter Gerwe is an American media entrepreneur with a global footprint. His career started out of collage as VP Production of Unuson, producer of the US Festivals financed by Apple computers co-founder Steve Wozniak. Since the US Festivals (which included artists David Bowie, The Police, Talking Heads, The Clash, U2 and Fleetwood Mac), his focus has been on building and selling media companies.
Over the past thirty years, Peter has built eleven media companies from start up to exit. He founded and built multiple companies including television network CTC Media ($2.3 bn NASDAQ listed IPO, $4.0 bn max market cap), Radio Maximum, IMHO Advertising, Corvette Telecom and Hello TV. Mr. Gerwe also directly managed the purchase of News Outdoor as a part of a consortium purchasing the company from News Corporation.
Mr. Gerwe now lives in London and his current investments include Axiom Media, the UK's leading independent advertising sales company and he is the largest shareholder and directly managing StoryFirst (originally Pinewood Television), a leading London based global television series production company.
