
Memet Ali Alabora
In 1999, he starred in Kayıkçı (Boatman), a Turkish-Greek co-production, and later featured in sequels of the iconic Turkish comedy Hababam Sınıfı. His filmography also includes Yedi Kocalı Hürmüz and the Maskeli Beşler series. In addition to his acting career, Alabora is known for his contributions to contemporary performing arts as a co-founder of garajistanbul and for his activism related to civil rights and environmental issues, notably his support for the Gezi Park protests. Following these events, he relocated to Cardiff, Wales.
