BiographyLaura Juliet Kuenssberg (born 8 August 1976) is a Scottish journalist who presents the BBC's Sunday morning politics show. She was political editor of BBC News from July 2015 to May 2022, and was the first woman to hold the position.
In September 2022 she replaced Andrew Marr as the host of the BBC's weekend political interview programme, which was renamed Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg.
Kuenssberg previously served as the BBC's chief political correspondent and was the first business editor of ITV News. She was also the chief correspondent for Newsnight between February 2014 and July 2015.
