Taking Back Bedroom

Joseph and Christine Paravati's house was once used as a multi-family home with each floor being a separate unit. Having already converted the basement apartment into an entertainment area, they are now set to reclaim the upstairs master suite by getting rid of the second kitchen. Removing the kitchen will create space for a bathroom extension and new walk-in closet. Host and licensed contractor John DeSilvia shows this couple how to save money by doing their own demolition, framing and flooring. These changes may allow them to splurge on a Jacuzzi tub for their new bathroom.
