100 Amis - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

The notary
Yannick discovers that he is the heir to his multimillionaire uncle! The deceased, who died with no friends and no close family ties, doesn't want his nephew to end up like him. To inherit, the stipulation is simple: Yannick must have "100 friends" by the end of the year.

Nadia
Yannick sees Nadia again, an acquaintance from CEGEP who has been suffering from a strange illness since her "balloon accident". As she repeatedly falls asleep during their lunch, Yannick tries his best to convince her to be his new Facebook friend. What can he do to convince her? Lie, perhaps...

Gilles
On his way home, Yannick runs into his neighbor Phil (whom he calls Gilles) in his backyard with his six-year-old daughter Charlie. Like the good guy he is, Phil readily agrees to become his Facebook friend. Unfortunately, a photo taken by Yannick escalates the situation.

Mila et Mali
Yannick is having dinner with Mila and Mali, his rather intense twin cousins who want to become the next big social media stars. To get them to agree to be Facebook friends, Yannick has to rise to a major challenge. A challenge that will make the two teenage girls Web millionaires...

Judith
Yannick meets up with Judith, his former Ethics and Religious Studies teacher. A lovely, charming lady who is VERY interested in her ex-student, now of age. To become Facebook friends, Yannick is forced to accept a request from Judith. Then the arrival of his husband changes everything!

Rita
Yannick was looking to see Rita, his ex-workmate. Unfortunately, Rita is dead. Instead, Yannick meets her husband Maurice, a sympathetic widower... and taxidermist. In the midst of a heap of stuffing projects, Yannick receives a life lesson from the last person he expected to talk to.

Laurence
Yannick has a coffee with Laurence, his ex turned artist. Now in a "fusion" relationship, Laurence hates Yannick for all the nasty things he's done to her. To make amends - and to have her as a Facebook friend - Yannick will have to apologize. A really sincere apology.

Gisèle
Yannick tackles a very important person to conquer: his mother! Although she was one of the first people he contacted, Gisèle refuses to accept his request for friendship. And why? Because she's certain they have nothing in common. Yannick tries to prove her wrong... and then they both discover they have a common passion.

Hervé
Hervé is an uncomfortable person. As uncomfortable as Yannick, in fact. So their meeting doesn't seem to be heading in the direction of a new Facebook friendship. Yet, as he eats the strange soup his host has prepared for him, Yannick realizes they have a real chemistry. Finally, a friend. A real friend! At least, until Hervé shows him his canines...

Godefroy
Almost on his hundredth friend, Yannick makes a decision: he has to go and see his father. Unable to find a cab, Yannick accepts the offer of a lift from Godefroy, a friendly guy who's into medieval fantasy. As their discussion takes a strange turn, Yannick discovers why his driver calls himself a "17th-level thief".

Papa
Yannick finally sees his father André again. André has recently found a new passion: he's a "dazzler". What does a "dazzler" do? It "dazzles". And he's trying to hypnotize his son into a relationship. Their meeting goes well... until Yannick discovers the real reason behind the hypnosis session.
