Episode 1

Another look at some of the nation's oldest drivers still on our roads. Those drivers featured in this programme include 102-year-old Harry Kartz, who is determined to stay on the road despite the fact he can barely hear. Meanwhile, Alan Higgins undertakes an epic journey. He wants to track down a girl he met 75 years ago during the war. He sets off with his granddaughter Clara in a journey which takes them to Russia, through crowded cities and across frozen wilderness, on the most dangerous roads in Europe. At the age of 100, Jock Stares still goes out on his scooter every day. He bombs around the Gower, visiting care homes where he entertains the 'old folk' by playing classic tunes on the piano.
