Return of the series going behind closed doors with parents and staff at The Rotunda in Dublin. Jade and Keith are preparing to meet their third baby, and Sam and Liam anxiously count down the arrival of twins whose lives are in serious danger due to having their umbilical cords entwined.

Expectant mum Kayleigh is hoping she will break the family tradition of always having C-section deliveries, while Zosia is determined to have as little intervention as possible in the birth of her first baby. Samantha and Anto arrive at the Rotunda for radical laser treatment in an effort to save the lives of their unborn twins.

Teenagers Savannah and Brandon prepare to welcome their first baby. Keshini and Tym had a virtual romance on social media before settling in Ireland, now they're about to become parents for the first time. For young parents Carrie and Fintan, meanwhile, the arrival of their new baby is bittersweet, as they recall their first child Ellie, who died shortly after birth.

Ecaterina is rushed in as her fifth child is in a hurry to make an appearance, and Ciara and Mick must come to terms with the news that one of their unborn twins will not survive.

Young couple Sophie and Daryl choice of names are proving confusing for midwife Veronica. Meanwhile, Ciara is getting ready to welcome her second baby.

Jessica and Sean are in the Rotunda for the birth of their first baby. Meanwhile, Aline and Tiago reflect on their relationship which has brought them from Brazil to Ireland.

Mother-of-four Ellie is referred to the Rotunda and finds out that her baby requires a blood transfusion while still in the womb.

Natasha and Andrew prepare for the arrival of their twins, and after a tough first pregnancy, Kate hopes that her second pregnancy will make it to full term.
