The quiet town of Pedraza is shaken by the birth of a mysterious child. Local vet Elena and Mayor Paco investigate the incident and begin to uncover the troubling past of their newly appointed priest, Father Vergara – and the significance of a curious coin he has in his possession.

When a local teenager suddenly disappears, Elena explores Father Vergara's possible connection. As more untimely deaths befall the town, Marquess Roque presents Elena with an enticing job offer, and Merche urges Paco to keep his distance.

Elena and Paco discover that a local mirror is haunted. When Father Vergara spends the night investigating the mirror's trickery, he risks getting swept into its deathly portal.

Father Vergara leaves for Rome to face his painful past. He requests a meeting with the Pope, but he discovers that Santoro is waiting for him too. Meanwhile in Pedraza, someone is about to return from the dead.

After mysteriously disappearing two years ago, Elena's husband miraculously returns. In Rome, Santoro tries to recruit Vergara, offering him unimaginable power…

While Father Vergara seeks refuge from Santoro in Aleppo, he ventures into the dream world to contact Elena, who's eloped to Paris with Roque. Meanwhile, in Pedraza, marital tensions between Paco and Merche reach a boiling point, and federal agents descend on the town to take matters into their own hands.

When the sinister new priest prepares a great ritual, a magical fog descends over the village. Vergara and Elena, return with the coin while Paco attempts to resist the conspiracy. The epic confrontation of good vs. evil has finally arrived.
