A year after the fire, angry residents are demanding answers from the U.S. Forest Service, whom they blame for letting a small fire get out of control and become a catastrophe. Through Freedom of Information Act requests and eye-witness testimony, Whitaker seeks to uncover what happened in those crucial first days of the Caldor fire.
