74.5 Uma Onda no Ar (1994)
In Pedra da Lua, a paradisaical city by the sea, the old journalist Álvaro keeps radio 74.5 Uma Onda on the air, radiating hope, humour and high spirits. The starting point is the arrival of Luiza, the radio host's granddaughter, who returns after suffering a severe disappointment in her marriage to Caíque. Starting a new life again, the young woman falls in love with Miguel, an ex-boyfriend who lives on a boat and lives taking tourists out.
Miguel is the son of a fisherman and has been passionate about the sea since he was a boy. As a child, he and Luiza dated. They both believe that, in past lives, he would have been a porpoise, and she was a mermaid. For socioeconomic reasons, both had to choose different lives. He got a scholarship and went to study marine biology in the United States; Luiza ended up marrying the ambitious and manipulative Caíque.
Unhappy with her marriage and life in the big city, she returns to the paradisaical Pedra da Lua, to look for her grandfather Álvaro, and ends up meeting her old love again.

A Tale Of Two Cities
London, 1782. Tensions run high in the war between France and Britain. A young woman, Lucie Manette has her life upended when she receives a message from Paris - her father, assumed dead for almost 20 years, may be alive. The messenger - idealistic French emigré, Charles Darnay - is arrested and charged with treason. Lucie enlists the help of a brilliant but erratic young lawyer, Sydney Carton, to free Darnay in the hope he will lead her to Paris to track down her father. Lucie's collision with Darnay and Carton unleashes a powerful and complex love triangle. Both men fight to be worthy of her love, and Lucie is torn over which one to choose. Yet neither man - physically so alike, spiritually poles apart - can escape the other. Instead, they find themselves bound together in life and death, through triumphs, tragedies, marriage, and murder.

Doc
Doc centers on the hard-charging, brilliant Dr. Amy Larsen, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis. After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she's treated, colleagues she's crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.

Dark Matter
Hailed as one of the best sci-fi novels of the decade, Dark Matter is a story about the road not taken. The series follows Jason Dessen, a physicist, professor, and family man who – one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago – is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the multiverse of lives he could have lived. In this labyrinth of mind-bending realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from the most terrifying, unbeatable foe imaginable: himself.
