The series that follows a typical 12-hour shift with the paramedics of West Midlands Ambulance Service. Filmed during the autumn months as hospital waiting times rocketed and the pressures on the service increased, the series lays bare what life is really like on the front line at three ambulance hubs: Stoke, Stafford and Willenhall in the Black Country.

Episode 1
Paramedics treat a woman who's fallen over and torn the skin from her leg. And an idyllic afternoon tea turns sour when a wasp sting gives a man an anaphylactic reaction.
Episode 2
Paramedics are concerned that a man who was in a car crash outside a school may be bleeding internally. Another man has severe blood loss, and a baby's struggling to breathe.
Episode 3
In this episode paramedics treat a woman who has fallen and may have broken her hip. It's only been a few weeks since her last fall, when she dislocated it. Paramedics also help a man with a family history of heart attacks who's experiencing sudden chest pain, a seven-year-old boy who can't stop being sick, and a woman who's passed out in her bathroom and has a deep gash to the top of her head. And, after one too many beers, a man face plants the pavement.
Episode 4
In this episode, paramedics treat a postal worker who has slipped on sewage. He's lying on the ground unable to move and may have broken his hip. The paramedics are sent to a possible cardiac arrest and find the patient in a bin. It's one of the most bizarre callouts that they've ever attended. Paramedics also treat a woman who is in 'ten out of ten' pain with kidney stones, an elderly man with a water infection and a three-month-old baby who's having trouble breathing.
Episode 5
In this episode, a gardener slips off a wall and badly damages his leg. It's going to be difficult for the paramedics to get him out of this tight space without causing further injury. A crew responding to an elderly woman with a head injury are diverted to a man who's collapsed in a car park. Paramedics also treat a woman who lives with migraines and has been in bed with persistent sickness for 24 hours, a woman living with dementia who's found unresponsive by her husband, and a patient with advanced cancer who's losing blood and needs to go to hospital.

On their way to a job, paramedics come across a road traffic accident that's only just happened. Two cars have collided, and a woman's sitting in the middle of the road in tears and breathing fast. Paramedics also treat a patient whose burst varicose vein leaves their kitchen like a crime scene, a baby who's struggling to breathe and has an irregular heartbeat, and a frequent caller who makes inappropriate sexual comments to an all-female crew. And a track-side suicide is a new and tragic experience even for the most experienced paramedics.

The Price is Right
The Price is Right, originally hosted by Bob Barker until 2007 and Drew Carey thereafter -- features a wide variety of games and contests with the same basic challenge: Guess the prices of everyday (or not-quite-everyday) retail items. Four contestants, all of whom are seated in one of the wildest audiences in daytime game-show history, are called to the stage to play a preliminary pricing round. That winner joins the host on stage for one of more than 70 different pricing games. After three such games, the contestants spin a big wheel -- hoping to get as close to $1 as possible -- in the "Showcase Showdown". The two highest winners of that round advance to the final, where prizes could be cars or roomsful of furniture. A trio of models presents the prizes.
Bachelor in Paradise
Some of The Bachelor's biggest stars and villains are back. They all left The Bachelor or The Bachelorette with broken hearts, but now they know what it really takes to find love, and on Bachelor in Paradise they'll get a second chance to find their soul mates. Contestants will live together in an isolated romantic paradise in Mexico and explore new romantic relationships.
Worst Cooks in America
Chef Anne Burrell is back for a seventh season of trying to turn some of America's worst cooks into kitchen stars. This time, however, the recruits are seven celebrities who can showcase their talents on TV and in movies, but not no so much in the kitchen. Burrell competes against Worst Cooks in America newcomer Rachael Ray to see which chef can lead one contestant to make the most impressive culinary transformation. Actors Dean Cain, Ellen Cleghorne, Jaleel White and Barry Williams join reality stars Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Chris Soules and Kendra Wilkinson in boot camp. The winning star gets $50,000 for charity and bragging rights for his or her mentor. Not all of the celebrities will make the cut, however; after an opening potluck dinner each mentor selects three recruits to be on her team, leaving one celebrity to be sent home before the competition really begins. Burrell is looking to extend her record to 5-2, while Ray looks to get the win in her first season.
