Episode 1
Following the work of the NHS's Hazardous Area Response Teams. The team are scrambled to a block of flats after an explosion causes multiple casualties and there's a desperate battle to free the trapped driver of a lorry that hit a tree.

Episode 2
A plane vanishes, and the team are sent to join a massive search for the missing pilot and his passenger. In South Yorkshire, a man digging for antique bottles in a Victorian tip is buried alive and there's a desperate fight to save him.

Episode 3
A student climber plunges from a cliff face in Wharfedale and the team fear he has broken his neck. There's a stabbing at a meat plant and the medics are called in to treat the victim.

Episode 4
The medics spring into action when a cyclist plunges down a cliff in a freak accident. A homeowner's booby trap, designed to deter burglars, sparks a major rescue operation.

Episode 5
A landslip at a construction site traps a worker under tons of earth. Reports of a riot at a school come in and medic Alex must lead the operation to treat the injured.

Episode 6
A car crash victim has to be put into an induced coma at the roadside. Andy is called in to stand by as bomb disposal experts deal with a mortar dating back to the Boer War.

Episode 7
The response teams rush to save the life of a 21-year-old man who has been shot twice in the chest at a Doncaster pub. Another man has a seizure in the cab of his tipper truck.

Episode 8
A doctor on his way home from work is left fighting for his life after a head-on collision with a truck. Leeds paramedic Chris is called to a motorcyclist who has been hit by a taxi.

Episode 9
The teams stand by for casualties as police launch an armed raid on the home of a wanted man. A minibus carrying children with special needs is in collision with a stolen car.

Episode 10
A rescue operation is launched after a DIY enthusiast leaves a trap-door open and his partner falls into the cellar. A student captures his dad's mountainbike accident on camera.
