Le retour de Rita
Seeking to rid herself of unpleasant memories linked to her past, Rita Melanson visits her childhood village. Having not set foot there for twenty-three years, she is surprised to discover a village in decline. She reconnects with some of the villagers, including her childhood friend, Yolande. Following a series of events involving her ex, the acting mayor of Saint-Prospère, Rita finds herself, against her will, the owner of the church, the rectory, and the surrounding land.

Rita veut s'en sortir
Realizing she can't have the purchase of the church property annulled due to her "state of intoxication," Rita (Patricia Léger) tries to resell it to Lomer (Marcel Romain-Thériault), the village mayor. Why not, since he was already planning to buy Rita's property at a discount—easier said than done… Meanwhile, Véronique Poisson (Valérie Blais), a visiting real estate agent from Quebec, falls for Ferraille (Raphaël Butler) and stirs things up in the village.

Rita fait le ménage
Rita (Patricia Léger) has no choice but to restore the property so she can sell it for a good price. To this end, she enlists the help of Yolande (Marie-Jo Thério), Terri (Bianca Richard), and, in exchange for free accommodation, an Italian surfer (Joey Scarpellino) who emerged from the mud by the river. These volunteers, in reality, give her more work than help. Desperate, Rita turns to her cousin Ferraille (Raphaël Butler), proposing a barter, but the exchange he offers is nothing like what Rita expected…

Rita crée un gîte
Rita (Patricia Léger) decides to turn her rectory into a bed and breakfast. To boost her business, she wants to get involved in the Guinness World Record for surfing that Matteo (Joey Scarpellino) is trying to achieve. When Yolande (Marie-Jo Thério) and Rita look to furnish the bed and breakfast, Gilberte (Claire Normand) seizes the opportunity to further her own interests, namely, finally having her cultural center in the church.

Premiers clients
Rita (Patricia Léger) is desperately trying to keep Pierre (Guillaume Girard) and Josiane (Karine Gonthier-Hyndman), her first guests, a couple from Quebec. While Rita tries to entertain her new guests, Zoël (Gabriel Robichaud) finishes setting up the guesthouse with Terri's (Bianca Richard) help, Gilberte (Claire Normand) contributes to the effort with a historical presentation under challenging circumstances, and Edmour (Marc Lamontagne) forms a close, manly friendship with Pierre, who appreciates this return to the farm. An unexpected discovery relaxes Rita and gives her hope of keeping her first guests.

Zonage
When a travel writer (Tatiana Zinga-Botao), who has come to explore the possibility of writing an article about the orchard, stays at the bed and breakfast, Rita (Patricia Léger) is convinced she'll finally get her commercial hotel zoning. To her surprise, it's not a done deal. Rita has to promote the orchard and its owner, Lomer (Marcel Romain-Thériault), to the writer to make it happen! Meanwhile, hoping to impress Terri (Bianca Richard) and make a good impression in Saint-Prospère, Zoël (Gabriel Robichaud) is planning a surprise.

La panne
Much to Ferraille's (Raphaël Butler) frustration, Rita (Patricia Léger) refuses to buy a new car when her beloved 1961 Galaxie, nicknamed "Babe," breaks down. Meanwhile, Yolande (Marie-Jo Thério) tries to convince her heartbroken friend Monette (Anne-Renée Landry) to move back to Saint-Prospère, and she enlists Rita's help. Edmour (Marc Lamontagne) worries that his loud snoring will force Yolande to sleep in a separate room.

Mexico
Conrad (Manuel Tadros) reappears from Rita's (Patricia Léger) past and desperately wants her favorite singer to come perform with him at a club in the south. Charmed, Rita is ready to spend the winter in Mexico with him, but Yolande (Marie-Jo Thério) doesn't want to lose her friend. Rita is torn between staying and leaving. Meanwhile, the annual baseball tournament brings Zoël (Gabriel Robichaud) and Terri (Bianca Richard) closer together.
