In the sixth series of the fly-on-the-wall show a plumber in London's East End has his hands full when sewage from a 24-storey tower block erupts from a ground-floor toilet. Elsewhere, six stinking dogs cause problems.

Episode 2
In a tower block in the London borough of Tower
Hamlets, the rubbish chutes are blocked up to the ninth floor. A specialist team with strong stomachs is called in.

Episode 3
In London's East End an elderly woman with no next of kin receives a parish funeral, and a medieval burial site yields the remains of 10,000 people.

Episode 4
Environmental health officers investigate a caravan being used to shelter fighting cocks.

Episode 5
Environmental health officers visit the Tower Hamlets mortuary to investigate a suspicious death. They then have to deal with rotting meat found illegally dumped on the London borough's streets.

Episode 6
A pest officer attempts to tackle the worst cockroach infestation of his career.

Episode 7
Pest-control officer Tim Stevens visits an elderly lady whose food scraps are attracting more than just "rats with wings", while animal warden Dawn Sammons confronts a council tenant whose smelly pets are stinking out an entire housing block.

Episode 8
It's clean-up time in a flat that's been used as a crack den, while on the balconies of a high-rise, squatters have left some mess of their own.
