A police lieutenant in Cayenne, the capital of his native French Guiana, Teva Royer likes to rely on his instincts to shed light on the gray areas of the cases he investigates. One day, he is sent to Nantes to investigate the suspicious death of a wealthy businessman's daughter, whose body has just been found. Once there, Teva meets Ana Kerjouan, the pragmatic judicial police captain with whom he teams up to try to solve the mystery.
