The Shangri-la Syndrome
While investigating the disappearance of certain scientific material, Thomas was questioning the woman who was responsible, it was then that someone diverted Thomas' attention and two people grabbed the girl and injected her with something, when Thomas returns he finds that the woman has died of old age. When he returns to the director, he discovers that the institute that she works for was working on some sort anti aging process but apparently someone was able to alter it to have the reverse effect. He then says that all she said was that she was working for a Dr. Karla Meredith. Thomas then goes to Meredith's office and asks the secretary, Joanna for the doctor's files, it is later that some people appear so Thomas grabs Joanna and leaves, who tells him that all of the doctor's files are gone. Thomas then goes to see Hans Kruger the benefactor of the institute where Meredith works. What Thomas doesn't know is that Kruger is working for KARTEL. Kruger tries to kill Thomas but escapes.
