Episode 3
Danni Menzies heads back to Spain to visit Janet and Andrew, who found their dream permanent home in La Duquesa in December 2021. In Italy, Sara Damergi visits Dawn in her stunning country house in the Le Marche countryside, which she bought in 2015. After some great sadness, Dawn has embraced the Italian way of life and is now living the dolce vita.

Amanda Lamb helped Fiona and Mike find their dream French townhouse in Lorraine in 2007, and now returns to see how the house has been transformed and how the family is enjoying the French lifestyle. Laura Hamilton heads to Mojácar in Spain to catch up with Lynne and Chris, who bought their perfect holiday home with a budget of £100,000 in 2018.

In 2020, Steven and his daughter Stephanie asked Jasmine Harman to help find a rural home in France for them to permanently relocate to. Now, Jasmine returns to see the transformation of their country house and outbuildings. Is all of the work complete? Laura Hamilton catches up with Neelesh and Angie, who bought a stunning new-build apartment in Estepona for £260,000 in 2019.

Lee Juggurnauth helped Liz and Ian find their stunning Greek sea-view villa in 2021. He heads back to discover that, far from resting in the sun, Liz and Ian have taken on some impressive building projects. Jasmine Harman revisits Lisa and Paul, who found their £72,000 holiday home in Torrevieja in 2019, and is amazed to hear how seeing themselves on A Place in the Sun has changed their lives forever.

Episode 7
Jean Johansson gets to sample the expat lifestyle in Spain as she catches up with married couple Bev and Paul, who she helped make the permanent move to the sunshine in 2018. And Danni Menzies travels back to Brittany to revisit Jill and Paul, who are working seven days a week living the good life in their farmhouse on their five acres of land that they bought in 2017.

Craig Rowe catches up with his first ever house-hunters, Alison and Gabriel, who he helped in 2021 to find their perfect holiday home near Dénia in Alicante. Their home has become a thriving business - so busy in fact that the couple can hardly get a gap in the bookings to stay in it themselves! And in 2018, widower George asked Jasmine Harman to find his dream holiday apartment on stunning Mallorca. Jasmine discovers that his holiday apartment is now his permanent home and George reveals the benefits of living in the sunshine all year round.

Episode 9
Eleanor and Chris found their stunning cliff-top apartment in northern Tenerife in 2015, drawing upon Scarlette Douglas's expert advice. Lee Juggurnauth visits the couple to see the work they've done to make the £120,000 apartment their own. Danni Menzies heads to mainland Spain to catch up with Peter and Karen who were planning to live off-grid when they bought their country villa in Tarragona in 2020.

She returns to hear how life has changed for the better after they made the permanent move to Spain and the projects that they're passionate about. Plus, Ben Hillman catches up with Graham and Yvonne, who bought a one-bedroom apartment in Alvor in Portugal, for £145,000 in 2020, and finds out how life just gets better and better for this super-relaxed couple.
