The Ersatz Elevator: Part One
The Squalor take the Baudelaires in because orphans are "in", and the Baudelaires suspect that the Quagmires are hidden somewhere in the Squalors' building. Meanwhile, Jacques recruits Olivia into VFD, and Olaf performs a musical number at Herring Houdini.

After the Baudelaires find and lose the Quagmires, and narrowly escape death, they go to the auction house where Olaf and Esma are auctioning off an item containing the captive Quagmires.

The village of VFD offers to become the Baudelaires' guardians, and the Baudelaires accept since they figure the town is tied to the VFD organization. Things look better when Jacques captures Olaf... but soon become grim again.

Fleeing a murder charge, the Baudelaires end up at Heimlich Hospital and look for the files that will explaining everything that has happened. Olaf and his troupe infiltrate the hospital, and Esme continues her search for the sugar bowl.

The Baudelaires pose as Siamese twins and a feral baby to infiltrate a carnival where Olaf has come looking for answers from a mysterious fortuneteller, Madame Lulu.

Olaf prepares a new act for the carnival: two carnivorous lions. Now all he has to do is feed one of the freaks to the lions... and the Baudelaires are disguised as conjoined twins.

Bob's Burgers

Middle child Gene is an aspiring musician with a thirst for life. Louise is the bunny ears-wearing youngest daughter with an off-kilter sense of humor that makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen – and with the public.
