Episode 1
The first of BBC Wales's four-part, character-and-story-led series that chronicles summer 2012 in Wales. There's cause for celebration on the tiny north Wales tidal island of Cribinau, where one adventurous bride and groom are set to wed. But with guests warned to bring wellies, will time and tide play ball? In west Wales, it's make or break for first-time hoteliers Owen and Philippa Gale. They've invested their life savings into transforming a tired country hotel into a luxury retreat. But do these novices have what it takes to survive in the competitive world of hospitality? To the east, on the border with England, we meet the 'hands on' Lady Linlithgow, battling to preserve her ancestral seat. Far to the south, at Three Cliffs Bay campsite on the Gower Peninsula, the hardy lovers of life under canvas battle a mini monsoon. Meanwhile, in the Ely Valley, the residents of Pritchard Street celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in traditional style.

Episode 2
As Wales endures its wettest early summer since records began, the grey skies and heavy rain fail to deter our overseas visitors. The largest cruise liner to visit our shores docks in Anglesey's Holyhead harbour; on board, three-and-a-half thousand American visitors all planning to 'do' north Wales in a day. Far to the south, the Cleaner Cardiff Cleansing Team goes into deep clean mode in preparation for an Olympic event-filled summer. Whilst in Barry, we dive headlong into the world of the modern TV tourist. At Bryngwyn Hall, can Christine the cook's home baking cut the mustard? Meanwhile in west Wales, at Philippa and Owen Gale's newly refurbished Hammet House, they're about to host their first wedding reception of the summer. With their life savings invested in the business, it's make or break as the novice hoteliers go all out to create a suitable impression.

Episode 3
The third in a four-part character-and-story led series that chronicles summer 2012 in Wales. Football fever sweeps the capital, as the Cleaner Cardiff Team prepare the city for its moment in the Olympicspotlight. At Bryngwyn Hall on the Welsh borders, former debutante Lady Linlithgow hosts a social etiquette course for a group of young ladies eager to gain poise, confidence and sophistication. In Caerleon, tour guide Linda Bailey tries her hand at historical interpretation, turning gladiator for a day in a bid to expand her repertoire. And at Hammet House, a reviewer comes to call after the luxury retreat loses one chef and gains a new one.

Episode 4
The fourth of a four-part character-and-story led series that chronicles summer 2012 in Wales. At Barry Island, it's the end of the summer season and the end of an era for Vernon Studt and the iconic fun fair.Hoteliers Owen and Philippa Gale seize a slim window of opportunity between weddings to squeeze in a total refurbishment of their ballroom. Have they bitten off more than they can chew? Cardiff Mardi Gras battles a mini monsoon as the revellers parade through the capital's streets for the first time ever. For Cynon Valley allotment owners Horace and Mervyn, there's both heartbreak and joy at the Rhondda Cynon Taf county show. And on the tidal island of Cribinau, off the Anglesey coast, the summer season comes to an end with a double christening and the retirement of Canon Reverend Madeline Brady. Will this mean an end to services in the idyllic little church in the sea?

After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she's treated, colleagues she's crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience.
