Horizonte Artificial
1919, Lisbon. Sacadura Cabral, faced with the arrival of the Americans crossing the North Atlantic by air, is increasingly convinced of his plan: to cross the South Atlantic by air and be the first to achieve this feat in world aviation. A young journalist, Norberto Lopes, hears the commander's plan and begins his investigation. The race to the skies begins.

Corrector de Rumos
The competition is launched. The government will offer 20 contos to whoever completes the crossing, with the aim of celebrating the centenary of Brazil's independence. "Anyone can participate, anyone can win." But the dispute between officers becomes heated, and the government ends up deciding in favor of the Navy commander, Sacadura Cabral.

Lusitânia
Varzim's death alerts our pilots to the danger and ephemerality of the skies. "May the best man win" - a truce between officers and journalists. Two years pass, physical training intensifies. Planes are purchased and financing is secured. The latest precise studies of the route and weight of the plane define who will be an integral part of the adventure. The departure is approaching.

O Presídio
April 5, 1922, Atlantic Ocean. Despite having completed the second stage of the crossing, having reached Cape Verde, they are trapped on the island. With strong winds and problems with the floats, they only have enough gasoline for a 12-hour direct flight, and are unable to reach Fernando de Noronha.

Glória
South Atlantic, May 11, 1922. After taking off for Fernando de Noronha, Sacadura Cabral and Gago Coutinho face technical problems that leave the seaplane adrift in the South Atlantic. A search begins, while the world waits in suspense for news of the missing aviators.

Ícaro
Received as heroes upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro, Sacadura began to plan his next project: circumnavigation of the air. Wasting no time in presenting the proposal to the Portuguese State, which received it with great skepticism. At the same time, Sarmento Beires prepares to leave on his Raid to Macau. Is it time for Sacadura to stop flying and make way for younger aviators? Faced with a lack of government support, Sacadura resigns from the navy.
