In Staffordshire, Sam Bailey, the 24-year-old Young Farmer of the Year, is doing his best to tend to the 600 sheep and 150 dairy cows on his farm but when he realises mum-to-be cow Mary is expecting twins, things get tricky.

The threat of a contagious disease threatens the health of Rob and Dave's free-range hens. Then they need to call in Yorkshire Vet Matt Jackson-Smith when one of their beloved Swiss Valley rams has trouble with his spirally out-of-control horns.
