Gold mining legend, Ian Holland, takes on an apprentice in the hope of boosting his gold output. Rookie Miner Dennis is desperate to get his gold processing plant up and running.

Episode 4
Donnie confronts poachers, who appear to be stealing gold from his lease, and a disaster dam-wall break threatens to end all hope of repaying their investor on time.

Episode 5
The Clermont Diggers come up with a new plan to try and boost their daily gold output. But the radical strategy has deep flaws. The Rookie Miners unearth the biggest nugget of the season.

It's D-Day for the Clermont Diggers. They have just 48 hours to repay investor Dennis and now Leigh has gone missing in action. A $250,000 nugget is found close to the Ballarat Crew's mining lease.
