The Rookie Miner's search for a mythical gold reef backfires badly. And in Ballarat, prospecting legend Ian and his apprentice April finish their season with a $19.000 gold bonanza.

The Clermont Diggers unearth a monster nugget. Rookie Miner Dennis takes a punt on Lance that threatens to sink his start up-season. And the Mineshaft Hunters face a life-or-death emergency.
