Episode 1
At Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital a man has been rushed in by ambulance after a stabbing. The police are very keen to speak to him, but the patient is refusing to cooperate, causing a huge disturbance in A&E. No sooner has the victim's treatment begun when another ambulance brings in the knife-wielding attacker. Dr Claire and nurse Jessica fight to save both their lives.

Episode 2
In Belfast's Royal Victoria A&E, an intoxicated woman complains loudly that she should be seen first before any foreigners and becomes increasingly aggressive. Twenty-one-year-old Roberta is in agony after dislocating her shoulder from a fall at home. A 27-year-old is rushed to Newham Hospital, East London, after her throat began to swell and close up while out drinking with her friends.

Episode 3
In Newham, doctors struggle to deal with an abusive man who claims he's swallowed a pack of heroin, while a 17- year-old is rushed to A&E after vomiting blood after a tonsillectomy.

Episode 4
In East London, at Newham Hospital A&E, a man suspected of being intoxicated causes a disruption and shouts at the nurses, causing a delay for other patients. A homeless woman is rushed to the hospital's resus department, after she was found collapsed in the street. At Belfast's Royal Victoria Hospital, nurse Rebekah deals with a man who has taken a cocaine overdose.

Episode 5
In East London, at Newham Hospital Emergency Department, doctors rush to save a 36-year-old man's sight, who has been violently attacked. Dr Rosie cares for a 63-year-old woman with a significant head injury in Newham. In Belfast, Dr Alice runs urgent tests to assess 83-year-old farmer Ian, who is suffering from suspected life threatening abdominal pain.

Episode 6
At Newham Hospital Emergency Department, a drunk man with knife wounds in his chest and hand refuses to cooperate, until heavy bleeding threatens his vital organs. In Belfast's Royal Victoria A&E, an 81-year-old woman has suffered a brutal injury to her leg from slipping in her muddy garden and smashing her shin into a concrete bar.

Episode 8
An aggressive male patient is rushed into Newham Hospital Emergency Department in East London, while shouting and swearing at doctors. Police are forced to physically restrain him, while Dr Nick and a team of clinicians try to determine what's wrong. Dr Sarah assesses 36-year-old David for a significant facial wound and swelling around his eye socket.

Episode 9
Police are called to Belfast's Royal Victoria Emergency Department when a female patient becomes aggressive, but Dr Rachel recognises she's suffering from a mental health crisis. Dr Orla is trying to save the life of 81-year-old Theresa who is struggling to breathe. In East London, at Newham Hospital, Dr Daniel is concerned for a man rushed in after being found unconscious in a kebab shop.

Episode 10
At Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, an ambulance races to A&E with George, a non-verbal 23-year-old with a life-threatening neurological emergency. In Belfast, at the Royal Victoria Hospital A&E, 34-year-old midwife Rachel is suffering severe pain in her spine and is feared to have cauda equina syndrome after back surgery.
