Episode 1
In the first edition, emergency services and helicopter medics perform lifesaving CPR on a 76-year-old man in cardiac arrest before rushing him to the Critical Care Unit. Twenty-eight-year-old Jade was out walking with her sister when she was struck by a car travelling at around 30 miles per hour, and her resultant head injury leaves doctors fighting for answers.

Episode 2
David, 41, was driving home on a country lane when he met a tractor on a blind bend and his car was crushed underneath it. In University Hospital Coventry resus, the emergency medics act quickly to get him ready for surgery. Forty-four-year-old Rodger's paramotor crashed into the ground at speed, fracturing his pelvic bone and shattering his thigh bone into pieces. He's taken into theatre for complex surgery, requiring the skills of the trauma and orthopaedic and plastic surgery teams.

Episode 3
Rich, 17, crashed his mountain bike and was rushed into emergency surgery at University Hospital Coventry to repair an open fracture of his skull. Can surgeons do enough to ensure no lasting brain injury? Darren, 55, crashed into a ditch while cycling and is suffering a bleed on the brain. His slow recovery leaves his wife and the neurological team fearing potential long-term injuries.

Episode 4
In this edition, 20-year-old Jess is critically injured when the car she's driving collides with another vehicle, flips and lands on its roof.

Episode 5
Steven is left with life-changing injuries as emergency medical staff fight to stabilise him. Pauline has to be cut out of her car and airlifted to hospital after a collision.

Episode 6
A 60-year-old biker has a high impact crash that leaves him with life-changing injuries.

A professional MotoGP rider suffers an open fracture on his foot after being involved in a four bike, high speed pile up, while competing at Silverstone. The emergency team worry that a driver may have suffered serious injuries during a collision. Plus, the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance team is dispatched to help Kieran, who has suffered multiple rib fractures.

Episode 9
A road traffic collision has left a woman with multiple traumatic injuries and a motorcyle rider involved in a high inpact collision must relearn how to get back on his feet.
