From giant Bluefin tuna offshore to monster Murray cod, giant Flathead to Kingfish and high-country trout, this series really shows off some of Australia's best fishing and stunning scenery.

Copeton Casting
Al McGlashan heads to Copeton Dam in Northern NSW in pursuit of one of the largest freshwater fish in the country. Al is joined by his old mate Curtis Parker and they go searching by boat and on foot in the magnificent New England Ranges, battling the conditions to catch a mighty Murray cod!

Sydney Blues
When Al McGlashan hears the Bluefin tuna have turned up just 20 miles off Sydney, the call of the ocean is too strong. He drops everything, grabs his mate Jim Pennie and they race out on a mission to catch Jim his first big Bluefin. They also do their bit for science tagging and releasing, but of course Al can't resist and ends up diving in with these jumbo fish.

Basin Flatties
This week Al McGlashan goes chasing Flathead in the St Georges Basin and catches one for the record books… the smallest fish ever! Teaming up with the best dressed local fishing guru Dave Bakker, the competition is set, and the loser will have to take the plunge into the freezing water.

Sydney Kingies
Family rivalry at its best, Al McGlashan vs his fishing mad son Cooper in a battle for the Kingfish title right in front of the iconic Sydney Harbour. It's more than family pride at stake – they are on a mission to tag a big one. It is a race against time to help researchers unlock the secrets of the ocean and there is a whole lot of ribbing along the way!

Snowy Trout
Al McGlashan heads to the beautiful Snowy Mountains to take on his old mate Tom, the freshwater king. They chase trout across the picturesque Lake Eucumbene, check out an eco-hut and head up the river to settle the score once and for all.

Catching Dinner
Al McGlashan heads to country Victoria to take on his brother Stew. They kick off on the picturesque Lake Eildon before changing things up and heading to the saltwater in search of the best eating fish in the sea. It's not all brotherly love and the loser has to do the farm chores, including bathing Barney the bull!

Fishing for Research
This week is all about giving back and fishing for science. Al heads west to Perth to join a group of citizen scientists chasing Pink Snapper all in the name of research. They witness the amazing spiral vortex of spawning snapper and encounter some unwelcome visitors as well!
