On the nights before Christmas, Alan Carr turns festive elf as he hosts a star-studded new quiz show in which three stars compete to win hundreds of presents for the studio audience. To get their hands on these goodies, the audience need the celebrity panellists - Melanie C, Richard Osman and Joe Lycett - to answer questions about the year posed by the celebrity stars hidden behind Alan's giant advent calendar. Guest Gareth Malone helps Alan in the studio with a question for the panel. At the end of each part, an audience member from each team plunges into Alan's giant gift box containing 30,000 balls, hoping to be the first to find one of the three wrapped presents hidden inside. The lucky person to do so wins the present contained within for every member sat in their section of the audience.

Destination X sees a group of contestants go on the road trip of a lifetime but they have no idea of their location. In order to win, they must figure out their mystery locations. Once they're on the blacked-out Destination X bus, the journey turns into a real-life game board, with challenges designed to offer clues as to their location, along with a few misdirects to keep them guessing.
At the end of each episode, the contestant who places an X on a map furthest from the actual location packs their bags. The first participant to reach Destination X will be crowned the winner.

God of War
