Avsnitt 1
After accidentally killing his partner, guilt-ridden corrupt cop Alex tells crime boss BG he's going straight. Struggling to cover his tracks, he is assigned to work with by-the-book officer Frida.

Avsnitt 2
Alex hopes to buy his way out of his criminal life by returning all the money that BG has ever paid him. BG has one condition: there's an informant in his gang and he wants Alex to find out who it is.

Avsnitt 3
Desperate to locate his kidnapped son Simon, Alex goes off the rails and spends the night trying to beat information out of every criminal he knows. Simon is put into the custody of two drug addicts.

Avsnitt 4
BG sends Alex a gruesome and potent reminder of the task he's been set. Realising she needs to help Alex, Frida persuades her estranged father, an infamous cop of the old school, to set up a wire tap.

Avsnitt 5
Just as BG's men are about to kill Simon, the boy gets help from an unexpected source, but the gang are moving in, and Alex must chase every lead and put his life on the line to get there in time.

Avsnitt 6
Alex decides to turn himself in, but when he hands his gun to the forensics team, it turns out that it couldn't have inflicted the wound that killed Martin. Frida finds herself in the line of fire.

The Terror

The series is named after Dan Simmons's 2007 novel, which serves as the basis for the first season and is a fictionalized account of Captain Sir John Franklin's lost expedition to the Arctic in 1845–1848.
The second season, subtitled Infamy, bears no relation to the book or first season and is mostly set in an American-run Japanese internment camp during World War II.
