Alice - Season 2

Alice encounters a flasher and Flo faces a handsome ex-husband who wants another divorce.

Alice discovers that one of the diner's regulars may be a gangster.

Mel injures his back at Alice's apartment and has to stay there for two weeks.

Alice and Vera are stunned when it seems that Flo and Mel have become more than friends, but both go to Alice to try and break off the new relationship.

Flo's vanity fights with her need to get glasses. When she finally agrees, J.V. tells her he is married. Flo is convinced it is because of the glasses.

A high school basketball player falls for Alice when Tommy invites him over for dinner. He slips into depression when she refuses to go to the prom with him.

Flo is excited that her latest boyfriend has been wining and dining her and lavishing her with expensive gifts. Alice is excited for Flo but she is in for a shock she learns that he intends to make Flo his fourth wife and have her join his harem.

The diner has lost money and Mel's accountant suggests he fire one of the waitresses. It soon becomes a competition to see who won't get fired.

Vera is convinced that a Native American's prediction that an earthquake will rock Phoenix will come true and everyone is rattled, particularly Alice who has never experienced an earthquake before.

An investigative reporter who fears for his life takes refuge in Mel's Diner.

Mel learns that his diner will be a meal stop on a bus route.
