Episode 1
Best friends Alice and Steve head out to drown their sorrows after a funeral. But when Steve stays over at Alice's, he runs into her 26-year-old daughter Izzy. And in a moment of drunken connection, they sleep together. Steve and Izzy agree never to let it happen again. Alice would be devastated. But the more they talk, the clearer it becomes that they really do like each other.

Episode 2
Keen to derail Steve and Izzy's fledgling romance, Alice invites them to dinner. It's awkward from the get-go, with Alice doing her very best to sow chaos. Steve tries to win round Izzy's friends, even revealing a prime bit of gossip from his job as a celebrity hair stylist. But Alice isn't going down without a fight.

Episode 3
With Daniel off on a school trip, Alice is left fending for herself for a few days. But when she tries to cook a meal for her son Dom, she slices her thumb badly, and it's up to Steve to look after her for the night. And when Alice gets a panicked call from Dom halfway through the night, it falls on her and Steve to team up and come to the rescue together.

Episode 4
After Alice pressures Steve to end things with Izzy, he clumsily breaks up with her, sparking Izzy's outrage. Things take a turn for the worse when the tabloids run the celebrity story Alice leaked. It's the first of a long line of things to go wrong for Steve, all of them Alice's fault. He vows to take revenge; although Izzy has a surprise of her own in store.

Episode 5
Izzy brings everyone together to tell them the news. She's pregnant, and she and Steve want to keep it. Alice is devastated, but tries to hold it together, for Izzy. But bliss turns to shock when Steve and Izzy head to their scan and get some unexpected news.

Episode 6
The wedding weekend has arrived. Tensions are running high, Alice is more on edge than ever, and a surprise guest at the rehearsal dinner sends fresh shockwaves through the group. Alice, Steve, and Izzy have all got some big choices to make — especially when a misplaced candle sends things in an unexpected direction.
