Episode 1
In the first episode, Dee meets Chatu, who is preparing to open her small urban garden for the very first time. Julian Clary shows Dee around the Kent garden he's lovingly restored. Dee meets Charlotte, who's been snipping topiary in her garden for 33 years, attracting visitors from far and wide. She also explores Tim and Lesley's two-and-a-half-acre tropical garden in Worcestershire. And Dee spends time with her daughter Miranda in her west London garden.

Episode 2
In this episode, Dee visits Nigel and Vincent, who entertain visitors with a clarinet choir; she meets Mona, who is anticipating a visit from the Austrian Alan Titchmarsh; and she spends time with her nephew Tom Hart Dyke, who has risked life and limb looking for exotic plant specimens overseas. Dee also meets Sue and Earl as they open their eclectic north London garden - complete with home-made follies; and visits Julia and David's splendid garden that's adjacent to Warwick Castle. With Miranda's flowerbeds ready for planting, Dee also pops over to continue her mission to make a gardener of her daughter.

Episode 3
In this episode, Dee visits a garden that's situated on a group of barges on the River Thames; a pub landlady who's famed for her colourful hanging baskets; two green-fingered neighbours, who've joined forces with their gardens; a couple who use a clarinet choir to draw in visitors; and one of the most spectacular gardens in the handbook. Dee also checks in on Miranda's garden to see if the mission to make her a horticulturalist has succeeded.
