Relegation from the Football League beckons for Grimsby Town. As two local businessmen buy the football club, former manager Paul Hurst is brought back into the fold. As they prepare for the new season, renewed optimism rises.

Episode 2
Despite mounting pressure from fans, new owners Jason and Andrew stay resolute with Paul Hurst at the helm. The club need to turn around their indifferent start to the season and make the National League play-offs. Their form begins to improve, but can the club secure a chance of promotion via the play-offs? Even if they do qualify, three knock-out games in two weeks will decide their fate.

After the most dramatic game in the club's recent history, Grimsby find themselves only two knock-out games away from promotion. Standing in their way is Ryan Reynolds' Wrexham, they have Hollywood backing and they are the outright favourites. Can Grimsby Town come through against the odds and progress to a winner-takes-all final for promotion back to the Football League?
