There is still no electricity. Village priest Matias calls his community together for an emergency meeting, and the inn of the heavily pregnant landlady Elisabeth becomes a crisis center. It quickly becomes clear that when it comes to power outages, everyone is pretty stupid. Conspiracy theorist Norbert is convinced that the lizard people have of course taken over the world and are behind the blackout. The run-down barracks doesn't even have a generator, so how is the immediate area supposed to be supplied? The Kekenbergers launch Operation Survival. Procurement of food and drinking water is a top priority. For once, the local Viennese prove to be useful: former football captain Laura, who is plagued by an anxiety disorder, and her boyfriend Patrick drive their electric car to the nearest supermarket to get groceries. But they are not the only ones there.
