Der charmante Julian kann Diana überreden, dem Drehteam und den Verantwortlichen eine Kostprobe ihrer Fähigkeiten zu liefern. Sie überwindet ihre Ängste und legt vor Kamera und Publikum eine sensationelle Kür hin. Als Jenny dies erfährt schreitet sie ein, denn sie ist keinesfalls gewillt, sich von einer 'dahergelaufenen Anfängerin' die Show stehlen zu lassen. Diana ist wie vor den Kopf gestoßen. Nicht nur, dass sie auf Jennys Anweisungen hin abrupt das Eis verlassen muss. Sie muss auch erkennen, dass Jenny und Julian ein Paar sind. Obwohl Julian mehrmals auf sie zugeht und sie sogar zum Training der Steinkamp-Nachwuchstalente einlädt, lässt sie sich nicht erweichen. Erst ihre beste Freundin Annette kann sie schließlich überzeugen, ihren Stolz zu überwinden und die einmalige Chance wahrzunehmen. Doch das Training wird zum Spießrutenlauf: Diana ist unkonzentriert und macht viele Fehler, die von Jenny und den anderen Mädchen höhnisch kommentiert werden. Diana will schon aufgeben. Doch dann bekommt sie von unerwarteter Seite Unterstützung ...
