Mike lässt nicht locker und umgarnt Diana. Diana trainiert sehr hart für die Meisterschaft, was Jenny beunruhigt zur Kenntnis nimmt. In einem Moment der Euphorie kommt es zu einem Kuss zwischen Mike und Diana, der sowohl von Julian als auch Jenny beobachtet wird. Richard versucht verzweifelt, Simones Fehler auszubügeln und den Eislauf-Präsidenten Müller-Hirschfeld vom Steinkamp-Zentrum und Diana zu überzeugen. Müller-Hirschfeld stellt eine Bedingung: Diana muss sich für die Deutschen Meisterschaften qualifizieren. Nun müssen Richard und Simone sich überlegen, wie sie Diana aufs Treppchen bringen. Dieter bemerkt, dass Geld aus der Haushaltskasse fehlt. Als er von Nina erfährt, dass Jutta das Geld genommen hat, um davon Stoff für Dianas Meisterschaftskleid zu kaufen, rastet er aus und verpasst Jutta eine Ohrfeige.
