Mike entschuldigt sich bei der entsetzten Diana für den Kuss. Als Jenny Diana vorwirft, sich hoch schlafen zu wollen und Julian sie nicht in Schutz nimmt, ist Diana zutiefst verletzt. Zudem erfährt Diana, dass Dieter Jutta geschlagen hat. Diana steht hilflos vor ihrer zerbrochenen Familie, ihren erschwerten Trainingsumständen, und zu allem Überfluss hat Opa Lutz Herzrhythmusstörungen. Sie hält dem Druck nicht stand. Dieter bemerkt, dass er mit seiner Tat den Zusammenhalt der ganzen Familie gefährdet hat. Er schwört Jutta Besserung und betont, wie sehr er sie braucht. Dieters ehrliche Worte zeigen Wirkung, und Juttas Widerstand beginnt langsam zu bröckeln. Roman, männliches Mitglied der Kader-Truppe, ist homosexuell und darauf bedacht, dass diese Information nicht an die Öffentlichkeit gerät. In dem neuen Choreografen Andrew glaubt er, die große Liebe gefunden zu haben. Nach der ersten gemeinsamen Nacht träumt Roman verliebt von einer gemeinsamen Zukunft. Doch Romans auffallendes Interesse an Andrews Choreographie-Wissen führt zu Missverständnissen: Andrew vermutet, dass Roman sich ihm nur aus Berechnung hingegeben hat und stößt Roman vor den Kopf.
