Diana verbittet sich jede Einmischung seitens Julian und läuft trotz der verletzten Schulter eine überragende Kür. Völlig überraschend beendet sie den Wettkampf als Dritte. Simone fällt ein Stein vom Herzen, denn nun steht dem rettenden Vertrag mit Müller-Hirschfeld nichts mehr im Wege. Auf der Siegesfeier in der Steinkamp-Villa kommen Diana und Mike sich gefährlich nahe. Dieter nutzt die Party, um sich gegenüber BDE-Präsident Müller-Hirschfeld als Dianas Gönner und Förderer in Szene zu setzen. Nadja teilt Richard mit, dass sie Essen verlassen wird, weil sie den Glauben daran verloren hat, dass er sich je zu Ben bekennen wird. Richard ist schockiert und versucht, ihr sein Zögern durch die drohende Pleite zu erklären. Nadjas Entschluss gerät prompt ins Wanken.
