Episode 1
Documentary following emergency response teams in the West Midlands on their most extreme medical callouts, often involving roadside surgery to save people's lives.

Episode 2
A West Midlands critical care team is called to a road traffic accident in which a 13-year-old boy has been knocked over on the way to school, and now has blood coming out of one ear.

Episode 3
Critical care paramedic Rob and doctor Adam fight to save the life of a boy who has been stabbed in the street. The 16-year-old has been knifed in the neck, has lost a significant amount of blood and is struggling to breathe. Elsewhere, Tom Waters is dispatched to 30-year-old bricklayer Daniel, who has sliced his arm with a power saw. He was cutting timber on a workbench using an angle grinder with a circular blade when he lost control and it sliced through his right hand.

Episode 4
Critical care paramedic Pete Edwards and the Midlands Air Ambulance Trauma Team are dispatched to give lifesaving treatment to a 21-year-old motorcyclist who has been thrown off his bike, with his helmet also coming off in the impact. Elsewhere, Rob Davis battles to save the life of an 80-year-old who is in cardiac arrest on his driveway, and the team is called to a man who has collapsed with a suspected heart attack and is showing symptoms of Covid-19.

Episode 5
Dr Ben Taylor and critical care paramedic Aiden Brown work with the the fire and ambulance services to rescue an 11-year-old boy trapped in the wreckage of a car he was a passenger in. After a nasty tackle on the rugby pitch, 40- year-old Dave is left with a horrific break to his foot and critical care paramedic Pete Edwards must manually realign the bones as quickly as possible, but it's an excruciating procedure.

Episode 6
A car driver is seriously injured and the paramedics perform life-saving treatment and put him into an induced coma at the roadside.

Episode 7
A desperate 999 call comes in from a woman passenger who is seriously injured after being thrown out of a car when it careered off the road and smashed into trees.

Episode 8
Critical Care Paramedic Fay is despatched to the scene of a serious motorbike crash and Ambulance control receive an emergency call reporting a man collapsed in a churchyard.

Episode 10
Paramedic Jack attends the scene of a double stabbing in Birmingham. In Shrewsbury, a driver has collapsed after crashing his car into a lamp post and a tree.
