Beatriz and Jaime are separated by Leonor in 1989; years later, Tomás and Gabriela, their heirs, will meet and may form a love story.

Tomás and Gabriela share a passionate kiss and swear eternal love. Beatriz confronts Leonor and escapes with Jaime, but Leonor has a plan with terrible consequences to separate them.

Leonor blames Jaime for Beatriz's death and swears she will not rest until she has destroyed his name and legacy. Andrés blames Magdalena for Jaime's death, and Tomás reunites with Gabriela in the least expected place.
