The Angels of the North are back, and Sammyjo has a busy weekend of christening celebrations ahead; she is godmother to not one, but two goddaughters.

First up it's an all Longlox affair, as Sammyjo takes on the party planning for the christening of stylist Kendal's daughter Kyra.

Pure Ink piercer Jade is throwing the second christening of the weekend for her newborn, Alayah, leaving brother Shane to search for his first ever suit and wrestle with having to buy shoes – another first.

With the Longlox girls and Pure Ink crew coming together for the happy occasions, Sammyjo is surrounded by her work family and her real family.

Sammyjo is looking for love and taking the plunge into the world of dating apps. Will swiping left and right unlock the secret to finding a new man? Or will afternoon tea and some words of wisdom from Grandma Eileen help her find Mr Right?

In the salon, someone is hiding a secret, a pregnancy test is missing from the kitchen, but who is expecting? The Longlox girls are left guessing while getting glammed up for a night at the races. Will a flutter on the horses see the girls past the winning post?

At Pure Ink, Jade is back at work and keen to earn, but she needs help with childcare. Can ‘Uncle Shane' get over his fear of nappies and take on the babysitting?

The funfair ‘The Hoppins' arrives in the toon. While Shane conquers a newfound fear of heights on ‘the bomber', Sammyjo and the girls are running for cover as ‘the curse of the Hoppins' strikes. Pure Ink piercer Carla is back from a festival, and after a mix up in the mosh pit, she's carrying an injury and wants anyone and everyone to hear her story. Sammyjo turns to friend Frankie for dating advice ahead of a singles night out, while at the salon, there is an unexpected staffroom surprise as we find out who is pregnant.

Kallie's professional boxer boyfriend Ewan has the fight of his life looming. The young couple head to Liverpool so Ewan can have a brain scan ahead of his fight, but will he get a clean bill of health and be allowed to compete?

Another day another baby for one of the Longlox girls. Sammyjo is throwing a surprise baby shower for Megan, enlisting Molly's help to cover their tracks and keep the surprise a secret.

Over at Pure Ink, petrolhead Shane is realising his boyhood dream of owning a Mini Cooper and takes Sammyjo for a spin.

There's big news at Longlox. Sammyjo is ready to take the reins and run the salon so she asks mum Bev to take a step back and take some time off. But, can the Longlox ‘mamager' stay away?

At Pure Ink, Shane is left holding the baby, quite literally, as Jade needs a babysitter. Jade and partner Dan have an appointment for a very important and poignant tattoo.

Enjoying her newfound freedom, Bev takes mum Eileen to the seaside leaving Sammyjo to run the salon.

Sammyjo is back where she belongs – on the floor of Longlox running the show and cutting hair. She's still looking for love, but is she looking in the right places?

The boys from Pure Ink, Shane and John, are on a health kick and hitting the gym. John confides in Shane about his health struggles, before Shane takes him on a hair-raising, nail-biting buggy ride to the coast.

Before the fight, there's drama at the weigh-in, and Sammyjo has a ringside surprise. Meanwhile, the Pure Ink crew hold a flash sale to raise money for charities close to their hearts.

It's the hottest day of the year, and Sammyjo wants to throw a housewarming party to remember. Everyone's in the party spirit, although Sammyjo just wants to keep her new house clean and tidy! When her new freezer gets broken, Bev takes the blame, but is she the real culprit?

At Longlox, Kendal is determined to stop smoking, and she has a novel way to kick the habit. At Pure Ink, Jade and Emma want to find the perfect outfits for Shane and John's upcoming bike ride.

The Longlox girls join the Pride march. Jade pierces her first noses with help from Emma and Dan. Shane and John attempt their big bike ride.
