Rising Oceans
On the Season premiere of Angry Planet - Sea levels are rising at an alarming rate and George is heading to Tuvalu, the tiny Pacific Island nation that may just be the first country to be literally wiped off the map by climate change. George lands at the airport in the middle of a torrential downpour, and a local meteorologist tells him the extreme storms and tides plaguing the island are yet another devastating effect of climate change.
If melting polar ice continues to raise the world's ocean levels, the low-lying island of Tuvalu in the South Pacific will be one of the first to vanish. George visits the vanishing island, and looks back on two major ocean storms of recent years.

River of Doubt
In 1914, U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt became the first person to navigate Brazil's "River of Doubt." The Angry Planet team returns to follow in his wake and investigate the changing climate in this remote part of the Amazon wilderness.
Deep in the Amazon, George is determined to retrace a legendary expedition and witness how deforestation and climate change are affecting one of the earth's most critical ecosystems. US president Theodore Roosevelt led an expedition down an uncharted river, losing several men and boats along the way. Today George is hoping to unearth one of Roosevelt's long-lost boats.

Cabo Verde Volcano
When the Fogo volcano in the Cabo Verde Islands suddenly becomes active, George rushes to investigate. He returns with stark images and tragic stories from one of the most destructive volcano eruptions in recent years.
Hoping to determine the effect of volcanoes on climate change, George heads to the island nation of Vanuatu where he's prepared to rappel into the fiery crater of one of the world's most active volcanoes. Joined by Danish geologist Sara Hoffritz, George visits a local village before heading to the summit where heavy winds and acid rain delay their five-day expedition.

Burning Australia
Will climate change make Australia uninhabitable? Follow storm chaser George Kourounis as he explores the now brutal Australian summer and imbeds with the firefighters battling one of the biggest bushfires in recent years.

Vanuatu
Climate change deniers claim volcanoes produce more greenhouse gases than fossil fuels do. George investigates this claim while revisiting the active volcano of Marum in Vanuatu. He dons a fire-suit and descends 1200 feet into the fiery crater of one of the world's most active volcanoes Joined by Danish geologist Sara Hoffritz, he visits a local village before heading to the summit where heavy winds and acid rain delay their five-day expedition.
