In the pilot of this sitcom about an unconventional veterinary practice in New York, Dr. George Coleman is dismayed to find out that his ex-girlfriend has inherited the facility and is now in charge of its kooky staff and faunal patients.

Little Miss Can't Be Wrong
When Doug's dog is injured and requires surgery, he tries to persuade George to perform the operation. Meanwhile, Angela's decision to sell Dr. Rizzo's artwork to a gallery does not sit well with the artist; and Dorothy is desperate for the staff to like her after she realizes she hasn't been included in their happy-hour gatherings.

Clean-Smelling Pirate
George tries to console a boy whose Parson Russell Terrier was brought in with kidney failure, but Dorothy would prefer the infinitely more kid-friendly Doug take the case.

Dr. Yamamazing
Dr. Yamamoto becomes a media sensation after saving the mayor's dog in an emergency operation, though George isn't buying into the hype. Meanwhile, Dorothy hires a capable new vet who is sure to test George's mettle.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Coleman?
George must heal his demanding mother's cat—or take its place as her constant companion. Meanwhile, Dorothy helps Dr. Leiter prepare for a meeting with the hospital's board of directors.

The Two George Colemans
George sees Jill as a threat to his standing at the hospital, so he tries to damage her reputation by sabotaging one of her operations. Meanwhile, Dorothy tries to remain impartial when she judges the facility's annual Halloween contest for pet costumes.

Wingmen
George treats a cockatoo with a possibly fatal habit of eating chocolate, while Doug tries to woo the bird's eccentric owner's socialite granddaughter. Elsewhere, Yamamoto gets the wrong idea when he's the only person to show up for Dorothy's movie night; and the interruption of Angela and Dr. Rizzo's favorite TV show prompts a call to the cable guy, with whom Angela is immediately smitten.

Ralphie
When a Saint Bernard's weight problem and overeating mirror its owner's, George's solution involves shaming the man into more healthful habits, but Dorothy tries a kinder approach. Meanwhile, Dorothy starts a weekly social event for the staff, but it's on the same night that the guys play poker.

Turkey Jerky
Sparks fly between George's mom and Doug's dad during Thanksgiving dinner, while Dorothy dines with Juanita's family; Angela tries to distract Yamamoto.

Based on Catherine Lacey's novel of the same name, The Answers is set in the near future, where a heartbroken young woman joins an enigmatic experiment that promises to hack love, but after moving into an idyllic, secluded location with her fellow female participants, she and the other women start questioning what's really happening in the experiment, and why they've all been tasked with dating the same mysterious man.

EastEnders
Set in the East End of London, the show focuses on the tensions between love and family with stories ranging from hard-hitting social issues, to personal, human tragedies. And there's plenty of funny moments too.
