Season 2
Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, Steve Jones and Kate Quilton return to try to rehome as many animals as possible from rescue shelters across the country and also ask viewers to help raise much-needed funds to help the thousands of homeless animals.

Episode 1
To kick off the week of programmes, actor and ex-Spandau Ballet bassist Martin Kemp and his animal-loving wife and former pop star Shirlie Holliman join Noel, Steve and Kate at Raystede Animal Shelter in Lewes, East Sussex, to lend a helping hand.

Episode 2
Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, Steve Jones and Kate Quilton present more stories of animals in need of help. Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford and presenter AJ Odudu join the campaign, sharing their passion for animals and discussing the benefits of adopting a rescue animal.

Episode 3
Animal Rescue Live continues its quest to support the work of rescue shelters across the UK. The team plays host to a dragon, and Made in Chelsea's animal enthusiast Jamie Laing drops in, adding his weight to the campaign to raise much-needed funds for thousands of homeless animals.

Episode 4
It is day four of Animal Rescue Live's mission to get Britain to adopt rescue animals and support local shelters. Professor Noel Fitzpatrick investigates the puppy farming trade and explains how people can help stop it, and the team highlights the vital work being done up and down the country to help animals in need.

Episode 5
As the week draws to a close, journalist Anna Richardson arrives in Lewes, East Sussex, to lend her support to the campaign, as well as working her magic to find a lady friend for Nigel the guinea fowl. Plus, a round-up of all the events that have involved Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, Steve Jones and Kate Quilton over the past few days.
