En hjemløs mand, Lars, bliver fundet under en bro. Det ligner selvmord, men det viser sig, at han var i slagsmål, før han røg ud over broen. En prostitueret narkoman ringede til alarmcentralen og anmeldte tilskadekomsten. Hun angiver en ung mand, Ronnie, for at have skubbet Lars ud over broen. Ronnie erkender, at Lars skyldte ham penge, men han siger, han ikke har rørt Lars – og der er ingen beviser. Daniel har pludselig købt et hus til ham og Anna i Søllerød, men Anna er ikke meget for overraskelsen – og det er Jan absolut heller ikke. Imens overtaler Anna derimod Eva til at flytte sammen med sin far. Der skal bruges en til at sidde vagt ved Lars på hospitalet, men ingen melder sig. Da Ole afslører, at det er Samira, som er vagthavende sygeplejerske, tager Kim dog tjansen. Han bliver dog noget skuffet, da hun har byttet vagt og først kommer om eftermiddagen – Kim tager derfor dobbeltvagt. Imens vågner Lars, og han fortæller, at Ronnie stjal hans penge og skubbede ham ud over broen. Hans kone bliver hentet ind, så hun kan se ham, men Ronnie er fulgt efter, og mens de er alene derinde, går han ind og forsøger at kvæle Lars med en pude. Lars’s kone afværger dog angrebet, og Ronnie bliver overmandet, anholdt og sigtet.
